It doesn’t matter in which subculture you are, a literature themed meeting is always a good idea. And, of course, it couldn’t be different for Lolita Fashion.
So, today, I’m going to show you 3 different activities that you may use to brighten your next literary meeting! Being it at the local cafeteria or at the library, it’s always a good idea to have some pre-planned activities for your comm.
So, let’s check them out!
That’s one of my favourite activities in this kind of meeting: Invite each member to bring their favourite book to the meeting and ask them to promote it! Discuss plot, characters, specific literary devices or even movie adaptations of it. It’s a great idea to promote interaction between the members and to deepen their bonds.
If you want something more… trhilling, you can always promote a writing session in group! Vote for a theme and divide the comm in small groups. Each group should be responsible for one portion of the story and, together, it should make sense. Discuss cahracters, plot twists and appropriate themes for it to be included! It doesn’t have to be a full novel, just a short story would be enough for a meeting.
This is another nice idea for groups with new members: promote a quick panel on Lolita Fashion and Literature, presenting the main titles (such as Shimotsuma Monogatari, Missin’, Paradise Kiss etc.). If you own them, you could even bring some GLB to the meeting! Show off the comics pages and media suggestions that were often presented in the magazine.
And that’s it!
