In times of quarantine, many lolitas have been resorting to online meetings. This is a pretty good alternative for checking your friends out without leaving home! Not only that, it’s also a good option for those who live faraway to keep in touch with the community even after our lockdown is over!
So, want to try hosting your own online meeting? Besides Skype, here are three platforms that may be just perfect for you:
Zoom is one of the most popular software for online conferences, being on par with Skype’s legacy. Despite being paid, Zoom does offer a free plan that can host up to 40 minute meetings with up to 100 users online at the same time. It’s a pretty good tool to try out and experiment virtual meetings for your community.
This one has been quite popular these days, and it’s been widely used within my comm. GoToMeeting can be accessed both through cellphone and the computer, making it quite versatile. Be careful, though, as it’s not a free service! You can take advantage of all of it’s feature through it’s free trial, though, which allows up to 26 users online at the same time.
Now, if you just want to meet some of your closest friends, JoinMe could work perfectly fine for you: it’s free version can hold up to 3 users at the same time with no time limit. It also allows screen sharing and file transfers, so it may be a nice free alternative for those who want a small private meeting with their closest friends.
And that’s it! Have you already hosted your own virtual meeting?
