Valentine’s Day is next week already and I’m sure many of you have had plans for a while. In case you’ve left some things for the last minute, here are some outfit ideas – however you’re celebrating!
It’s conventional to spend the day of love with your significant other. Whether you’re off on a dinner date, to the cinema or doing something unusual, you can bring the love theme to your coord. Depending on the activities, feel free to swap shoes for more practical ones. However, for a typical romantic dinner something elegant like this would be very appropriate.
Whether you have a partner or not, you can always go out for a meet with your Lolita comm. Many will be doing something themed for the occasion, so join if you can. A more friendly atmosphere asks for more pinks than reds, but you could also play with your favourite themes. Letters and sweets are appropriate for Valentine’s Day, but if you really love bunnies or crosses – show your love for that!
In case you haven’t heard of it, Galentine’s Day is a love-yourself spin on Valentine’s Day, usually celebrated with your female friends. And what common Valentine’s Day gift do most women love? Chocolate! So don your most chocolatey coord – or a casual version if you’re going out with normie friends – and enjoy. Being a woman it’s great, who can stop you from celebrating that?
This year Valentine’s Day falls on a Wednesday – inconvenient for most of us at work or in school. But who says you can’t dress up just for yourself? Whether you have something else planned for the weekend or not, wear something cute on the day itself and do something you love. Maybe a romantic film or a favourite book? How about writing out valentines for your friends and family? Whatever you do, you can look cute doing it, even if you don’t leave the house.
Who has plans for this Valentine’s Day then? What are your coord ideas? Have you fallen in love with any new dresses recently? Don’t forget to post a photo of your Valentine’s Day coordinate to Alice Holic – hurry up, the competition will be over in just a few days!
