Things to keep in mind

Make sure to prepare your hair properly

Just like with make-up, the basis is very important when styling your hair. Using your curling iron on disheveled hair will only make your curls look weird, so make sure to properly put it in order first.

Make sure to dry your hair properly

Make sure to let the curl cool down

Rather than using a high temperature setting when creating curls, waiting until they have cooled down will help keeping them in shape.

After you removed the curling iron, let the curl rest on the palm of your hand and wait until it has cooled down.
