My Style Evolution

I’ve been wearing lolita fashion since around 2013–about four years! My style has changed quite a bit over the years and I am going to be sharing some of these changes.

This is a coordinate from July 2014! I wore a BTSSB jsk. I have basic color coordinating down, but the coordinate could use some touchups, such as different shoes, a different bag, and perhaps switching out the darker browns for more pastels. I started off with a very sweet style and was around 19 at the time of wearing this coordinate.

This coord was from August of 2014–just a few months later. There are some improvements here. These photos were taken by my friend Nick and I think it brought out the coordinate! Though looking back, I wasn’t too big on the hair bow on the side of my head or the shoes.

This coordinate is from February of 2015! There is a big improvement here and there are some classical elements in this coordinate, combined with sweet.

I had crystal dream carnival very briefly and wore it in August of 2015. I wish I had more pictures of this jsk. I went to a sleep away college for the next two years and did not wear lolita as frequently in 2016 or 2017.

This picture is from June of 2016. In the recent months, I sold many of my sweet dresses, but still keep this one because it’s special to me. I usually just have headshots from this period.

This is my most recent coordinate from October 2017! This photo was taken my my friend, Lisa. I am beginning to experiment more with my style, but still keep some sweet elements to my coordinates overall. I encourage people to experiment with their styles, especially if they feel limited in terms of the fashion. After all, this is what helps fashion itself evolve!
